Protect me from what I want, the fundamental desires of the heart

I had an epiphany. And next came the rush of emotion.
I've drafted a whole chunk of it on Tumblr but I find that in the end that I can't complete it. Don't I understand my Heart anymore? Words that I've heard countless times but no courage to use. No courage to admit.

How come distance doesn't matter? I feel that it really does.
